Rotary Lights Parade

Santa Claus Comes to Town

Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, at 5:00 PM

Every year, the La Crosse Rotary Lights in Riverside Park are turned on at the end of this parade. Starting near 6th & Main, the parade continues down Main St. to 2nd, then north one block before turning into the park on State St.

A magical family evening event...

Santa in his sleigh travels the route, then switches on the lights before settling in to visit with the kids in his warm little house in the park.

Make an evening of it...

The parade, dinner out on the town, a little Gift shopping in the many unique Downtown shops, and of course the visit with Santa for the kids to make their wishes (& for you to remember the experience with photos).

Volunteers from many dozens of local organizations & businesses help out with the lights event through New Year's Eve.

Every year, this event collects thousands of pounds of food donations for the local food pantries, along with many thousands of dolaars to help those in need in the greater La Crosse area.

Warm Up With Us After The Parade...

Visit with us at Gallery & enjoy complimentary Hot Cider & Cookies,

we'll be open to at least 8:00 PM, and Gift Wrapping is always FREE.

Brief group explorations of Main, Pearl & 4th Streets will occur spontaneously at least twice during the evening.

In the booklet is a self-guided Historic Architectural Tour, with histories of the various structures, in the heart of our Historic downtown.

Well worth including on your list of things to do when you visit La Crosse;

fun for families, and very romantic strolling for couples of all ages.

While you are here, be sure to visit the many family-owned small specialty shops & fine restaurants in Historic Downtown La Crosse.

Some of our exhibiting Artists might be doing live demos of their skills. If so, we'll have the "LIVE ARTIST DEMO TODAY" sign out on the sidewalk.

Visit in our street level main Gallery

& step down into our Rustic Cellar to see what's going on.

New this year in the Rustic Cellar...

Garden decor', some "strange" & fun things, a bit of what Grandma would have had in her kitchen, Vintage goods, antique & vintage metal toys, & a Wine Lovers' Gizmos section.

Some really good local Handcrafters have brought in unique items, with more to come soon.

Many of our regular exhibitors have recently brought in Vintage & Antique items to greatly expand the selection now available for you.
