First Fridays

Everything, All Day, on The First Friday Every Month
The first Friday of every month, we remain open to at least 8:00 p.m.,
with a very casual Artists' Reception from 6 to 8 p.m.
These Receptions are FREE, & welcoming the public is very
important to all of us here at Gallery La Crosse.
All of our exhibiting Artists & Artisans are very strongly encouraged to attend for at least one of the two hours, as are our sellers of fine Vintage Wares and Antiques.
An opportunity for exhibitors and the public to enjoy meet one another.
Whether it turns out to be a large gathering or small, it is always a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours at the start of your weekend.
Light refreshments are served.
One or more of our exhibiting artists may elect to do live
demonstrations of their skills during these Receptions.

2010 will see the 70th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle event.
Sturgis & Porcupine are not far apart in South Dakota, yet few who enjoy the annual event in Sturgis are aware of the living conditions in nearby Porcupine, which lies off the beaten track.
Because our beautiful home, La Crosse, WI is located on the Interstate I-90 which is travelled by most Sturgis visitors, our community welcomes many of these cycling folks for lodging every year.
Joining in with some other Wisconsin (home of the Harley Davidson Motorcycle) organizations, we are holding a special exhibit of arts & fine crafts related to Motorcycles.
This show will be open to all of our current exhibitors,
and all other regional artists are invited to participate.
More complete details & the "Call for Artists" will be available here soon.

Historic Downtown La Crosse Day
Saturday, October 9, 2010
Have you ever worn a beaver top hat ?
